Junior Challenge
9 september 2021
Race Information
In 2021, CHALLENGEALMERE-AMSTERDAM will again organize the Junior Challenge. This race for school attending youth takes place on Thursday, September 9th. It is being organized together with high school Echnaton on behalf of the KVLO-school sports, Olympic Moves. This makes it a Dutch Championship accessible for both professional athletes and recreational athletes.
During the World Triathlon Multisport Championships in Almere, students are allowed to race on the official course. The distances are adjusted, creating a great challenge for students from secondary education. The students participate in two categories: younger than 16 years and 16 years and older.
In total, students participate in 1/10th of a long distance triathlon! This triathlon is a challenge for which stamina and endurance are needed. All this together make this race a great spectacle!
